Let's hear a little about Jeanne in her own words...

Hi! My name is Jeanne Streiff and I’m happy to be sharing some projects with you today! My life is good. I get to spend a hours each day creating and work with some of my favorite people. I live in the great state of Texas with my husband. We share four grown sons and two absolutely perfect grandchildren, a dog and chickens. I was a stay at home Mom for 20+ years and found my way to Splitcoaststampers.com in 2005. I was asked to be on the Splitcoast Dirty Dozen and fell in love with designing. I've enjoyed working with some wonderful craft supply companies ever since. You can find my work regularly in CardMaker Magazine and assorted other books and magazines.

Let's check out some of her cards that she made us --

Use What You Have Challenge #3

Reminder...

Submissions due by June 1st
Three Month Term
Term Starts end of June

Another week has come and gone and we're jumping for joy that we had even MORE entries this week for the 'Use What You Have Challenge' -

We had TEN beautiful cards entered into the last challenge and we couldn't be happier with the *growing* response to our little challenge. It's just fun, right?!

So, we had to pick just one card to win for the best use of old supplies .... and the winner is....

Tracy!
I love everything about this card - mostly the beautiful bling frame in the back. I bet you were 'saving it' for something special - and then you realize, heck I better use it OR I never will! Good for you! Hooray for using stuff from our old stash!

We also pulled one random person from all the entries - and the winner is

Indy!
Indy and Tracy - email us at info@sweetstampshop.com with your address so we can send you a little something sweet!

For all of the other participants - if you'd like - we have a 40% off coupon code that I'd be happy to share with you as a BIG thanks for participating!! Email us for the details!

Ready for week #3?!

Here is a reminder of the rules....

You'll have until next tuesday to add your link below - to your blog post showing off your 'stash' and then a card using your stash!

1. You do not *have to* use SSS in your card or project - although, we'd love it! (and we can't feature your project in our marketing without you using SWEET! - so keep that in mind!)

2. You have until Tuesday at 10pm pst to add your link below

3. There will be ONE winner based upon most creative use of 'old stuff' .... and ONE winner drawn from all the participants. Winners will be announced the day of the new challenge - so, in this case... next Wednesday. Prize will be something sweet - lol.

MOST IMPORTANT!!! Create whatever strikes your fancy - scrapbook page, project life - cards - altered art - home decor.... anything! Just be sure to use that old stuff in it!

(also, we had a question about multiple entries - YES, you can make as many cards as you like! BUT, it doesn't increase your odds of winning - your name will go into the hat 'once')

Here is my stash that you're getting quite familiar with...

I picked out three different 'round' type stickers.... with great plans to make more than one card. But, so far, I've only had time to make one card and use *one* of the above stickers. Don't fret - I didn't put the other stickers back... I'm using them this week!

But - until then - here is my card for this week!

It's kinda hodge podg-y ... but, I like how I cut the circle sticker to make more of a border on the side... I like when I think out of the box (it's pretty rare) - lol

I used 'City Scape' - I'm using that stamp set ALL THE TIME! I think it's because it works for so many different occasions!

City Scape
Happy Stamping! Can't wait to see what you'll drag out of your old stash!

Memorial Day Spotlight

Happy Memorial Day Sweets!

We're here for a quick hello (cause we know you have the day off with places to go and people to see!)

Today Amy Lowe is sharing her genius and we can't wait to (re) introduce you to her!

Meet Amy

Hi, my name is Amy and my blog is called Scrapping Mommy (http://www.scrappingmommy.com). I live in a little town in central Utah with my loving husband of 14 years and our three adorable kiddos. I have been paper crafting for about 10 years, but I have been crafting in one way or another my whole life.....thanks to my grandmother who I spent much of my childhood with. She was a very talented crafter who taught me many things about style and details......something that I hope to be able to pass on to my own children. My style is generally clean and well balanced, but I like to go wherever inspiration leads me. Because I am a mom to little ones, you can often find me up crafting into the wee hours of the morning. I also have a passion for photography, gardening, reading, cooking and baking, and you can usually find me hiking and fishing up in the beautiful Utah mountains during the summer months.

Hugs - isn't she just so SWEET - wait till you see her card...

Aweee - I just love it ! So sweet!

She used the 'kiss me' stamp set that I just can't get enough of!

Kiss Me

Be sure to head over and visit her blog - HERE - she'll have lots more fun stuff to share!

Have a great Memorial Day!
Happy Stamping,
N.

We've got a special sweet spotlight today - Amy Wanford... we're so excited to introduce you to her amazing 'eye' for design and flawless cards -

Here's a little bit about Amy (in her own words..)

Hey! I’m Amy Wanford, also known as Aimes. I’m a tea, toast and  paper-crafting addict from England and currently live in Sheffield with my fiancĂ©. I'm super-happy to be getting sweet with some SSS stamps as a Guest Designer! When it comes to creating, I’m a card maker and one that gravitates towards a clean and simple style (CAS). CAS and graphic designs make my  heart skip a beat. I love to think outside of the box and use a product for a purpose it maybe wasn’t intended for. I also get a real kick out of creating interactive cards: it’s like creating  magic before the recipient’s very eyes! If you're interested, you can check out more of my designs over on my blog: www.craftingconfessions.com
Ready to see Amy's amazingness -

I love how she stamped inside the card - I always for get that I have a whole other place to design if I'd like - INSIDE! lol

Aweee - that's just so well put together! Simple - Classic - but BEAUTIFUL!

Nothing is more fun than an interactive card! WOWIE so great!

Thanks for stopping in on this lovely Friday morning!

Be sure to stop by Amy's Blog HERE!

Happy Stamping!

Are you ready to meet Regina?!

Here is a little about Regina in her own words...

Hi, my name is Regina Hardy and I live in Lake St. Louis, Missouri with my husband, Brett and three dogs that are like kids to me. My hobbies were baking and reading but since I started paper crafting those hobbies have been put on the backburner. I’m addicted to everything about card making! I started posting my cards on Facebook just to show my friends my new hobby and there was such an interest in them, that I’m now selling them. I’ve recently gotten a Silhouette so I’m having fun taking my cards to the next level. I have met so many online friends all over the world who really inspire me. My goals are to be published within a year and to make as much time as I can to do what I love to do, make cards! Past design teams are Tami Mayberry Design Team and Outlawz. Current teams are Ribbon Carousel, Sherri Baldy Stamps and Sin City Stamps. I’ve recently gotten a Silhouette so I’m having fun taking my cards to the next level. Use What You Have Challenge #2

Good Wednesday Morning lil peps!

We're so excited to be back with another round of our 'use what you have' challenge!

Although we only had a couple people participate last week - I got great feed back about how much people loved the challenge idea! And the girls who did jump on board did an amazing job .... Let's give them a big high five! (in no particular order...)

Everyone did such an amazing job! --- I thought THE most creative card was Jessica's - BUT, Maria also had the most 'old' looking supplies and created a very lovely card. UGH, these are the hard choices a girl has to make! Ok - how about this... since there is only a couple participants... this week... EVERYONE wins something! (if you're outside the US we'll have you help us with shipping)

So, if you'd like something sweet - email Nicole your address and we'll get something out to you! Big Hugs for participating ladies! I hope you all try your hand at it this week too! (and of course, you let Nicole know if you'd like a extra special sweet coupon! - in case you've been eyeing something sweet!)

email - info@sweetstampshop.com (or nicolehrixon@gmail.com)

Ready for this week?!

Here is my 'stash' box (you remember it from last week) and I've found some travel stickers that have to be 7+ years old. I also spotted this old paper in my paper stash.

So, challenge ON.

I wanted to use up ALL the stickers... cause I know that if I use a couple and put some back I'll NEVER go back to them again. So, they were going on a card - or they were going in the trash. (and I shutter to think of these pretty stickers going in the trash - yikes)

I made two cards -

I used a couple sets with this card -
Calendar | Chalkboard Sign | Alpha Tabs | and Today Was

It always makes me feel GOOD to use LOTS of my stamp stash for a card... it makes the idea of having so much justifiable - right?! lol

I only used one set with this card -

Across the Miles

I tell you what though, I use that set ALL THE TIME! If you're on the fence with this set - I can tell you that I use it so much, it's almost trashed. The USA map stamp is BLACK and on it's last leg. That's how much I've used it and loved it. I also used some Timeless Twine - LOVE THEM! and the twine is pretty amazing too! lol

_____________________

So are you inspired to play along?! I hope so! Add your link below by next Tuesday (10pm pst) for a chance at some SWEET prizes!

Sets used in today's cards -

Happy Stamping! Hope you play along with us!
