Last Day with Core and Petaloo!

Happy Friday!

We're so sorry to be saying toodaloo to our partnership
with Core and Petaloo!

But, we have some great stuff to show you today
as our 'send off'!!

Let's dive right in!

First up is Michelle --

She used one of my favorite sets 'Core of it'

LOVE IT!!

Check out this cute card from
Kari -

I like how Kari used the flowers in the clouds
Total genius!

Of course, Kari used 'Scootin' By'!

I made a couple cards too!
Hooray!

I love that Pattern Craze! It works so well with
so many different themes - projects - cards!

I used it this time with a sentiment
from 'It's a Man's World' and
it made for a great Congrats card!
Don't-cha think!

I also made a bit of a shaker card using
some old packaging - check it out!

Here is how I did it --

Here's the tricky part - you'll wanna make
the 'confetti' two sided so, cut up the pencils
and cut your pencil stamp so that it's just
one pencil ( see above ) - then carefully
(it's easy!) stamp it on the back of each
pencil... color and bam! You have two
sided confetti!

I did the same thing with the apples
and I cut out some Hexagons from
the 'Shape-tastic' die set - and it
turned out super cute!

Today is the last day for you to

Ok, back to our - 'back to school' inspiration!

Here is Stephanie's card and a little hello
from her-

I love embossing with the core'dinations cardstock it comes out awesome and for the school theme I used a number background embossing folder and then lightly sanded the cardstock.
For the stamp set I used It's A man's world and sweet alpha doodles.
For the Dp I used studio calico and then to finish off my card I used the gorgeous flower from petaloo and also added some timeless twine.

That's such a cute card Stephanie! LOVE~

And, then Kim is sharing with us today---

I love this card - and the cherry blossoms never looked
so good!! A++

Core/Petaloo/SSS Inspirational Day 3

Whew, these partnership weeks with other
companies always make the week fly by!

It's already Wednesday!

Something new and exciting for today is....

We've got the pleasure of a guest designer -

Audrey Tokach

Here is a little about Audrey - from Audrey!

My name is Audrey Tokach and I am a Stay-at-home Mom to two beautiful boys, ages 10 & 8.  I have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 11 years now.  We currently live in Florida, though we will always consider the Philadelphia suburbs home.  I have been papercrating since 2001.  I started off as a scrapbooker, and in 2009, I was introduced to the wonderful world of stamping.  It is definately my passion, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a guest designer for Sweet Stamp Shop! :)  Please visit my blog at www.pinkinkoriginals.blogspot.com.  I'd love to have you come visit! :)

Check out her project that she made for today - using the
*new* Under the Sea and Pattern Craze sets AND the
new 'Shape-tastic' die set!!!

Wasn't that Under the Sea themed
back to school - so cute! Great job Audrey!

Day 2 Core-Petaloo-SSS

Hey guys and gals!

We're back today with some more inspiration
to get us *Back* in the school mood!

(I know even when I was a kid - going back
to school was always a hard transition - but,
my Mom always wrote little love notes in my
lunch box and I looked forward to it!)

Ok, we have some really talented designers
showing off their crafty muscles today - First
up is Laurel!

I love the background with the numbers!! So
COOL!

Stamps used: Lil Sweet Peps, It's a Man's word.
Supplies: Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Copics, Tim Holtz Distress Markers, Liquid Pearls

I dry embossed the Petaloo flowers and layered them and applied Liquid Pearls to the center. I dry embossed the number background onto the Core'Dinations card stock and standing it with the Core'Dinaations sanding tool! I also distressed the edges of both Core'Dinations card stock panels. I used Copics to "messy color" the frame green/blue.

Next up is Kelly - check out her awesomeness -

I created a Thank You card set for a teacher. When creating a set I find it easiest to determine my layout and then cut all my pieces. This way I can work in an "assembly line" fashion taking up much less time. After everything was cut I heat embossed Against the Grain with clear embossing powder onto the orange cardstock from Core'dinations. I adhered this to a 4 x 5.25 piece of white. I also adhered a 1/8 strip of Core'dinations scubadiver blue  along the right side. I stamped one of the jars from Jars of Sweets to create my vase, I just masked off the lid. I also paperpieced the bottom border using more scubadiver blue. The leaves were stamped on Core'dinations Leaf cardstock and trimmed out. The leaves are from Melvin and Vernie. For my sentiment I turned to Packaged Pretty because I just love the Thank You. It's so pretty with the script "you". I stamped the sentiment on another piece of white, rounded one corner, and adhered it with dimensional adhesive. I wrapped some green Timeless Twine around the ridge side and added a bow. Lastly I adhered my "vase" and added the lovely Petaloo flowers. The leaves were tucked under the bloom. The top left corner was rounded and the whole panel was adhered to a white card base. I absolutely love the way these came out! Such vibrant colors and I adore the way the blue in the blooms matches my cardstock :) I used the same exact layout for the cover of the box. The Petaloo flowers come in a set of 6 with 3 pairs so I created 5 cards and the boxcover.
